Meet your physical therapist 👋🏻

Dr. Nick Napoli is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Boston-area native.

He is TPI Medical Level 2 Certified, has additional training in strength & conditioning and dry needling, and specializes in working with golfers and runners.

Nick takes a movement based approach, integrating manual therapy with personalized programming to help you feel better so you can stay active without unnecessary setbacks.

Outside the clinic, you can catch him running, golfing or strength training. He also loves spending time with his dogs and watching any Boston sports team.

Golf season is right around the corner ⛳️

If your swing feels restricted, inconsistent, or leaves you feeling stiff afterwards, the answer isn’t always more range time or new clubs.

Often, it starts with how your body moves.

That’s why at Flowstate Physiotherapy we take a comprehensive approach to helping golfers. We start by looking at your mobility, strength, and movement patterns, and then analyze your swing so that we can get a clear picture of what may be limiting you.

From there we build a plan to help you move better so that you can swing more comfortably and stay on the course for longer.

Feeling better doesn’t always mean you’re fully healed.

One of the hardest parts of injury recovery is knowing when it’s the right time to do more and when you need to be patient and wait.

When pain starts to improve, it’s completely natural to want to get back to your normal routine. But often, pain improves before the tissue has fully rebuilt the strength and capacity needed to handle your usual training or activity.

That’s why rehab isn’t just about getting out of pain. It’s about gradually rebuilding your body’s ability to handle load again… and that takes time.

This is where working with a physical therapist can make all the difference. Our job is to help guide the process so that you know when it’s okay to push and when to pull back. Our goal is to help you can progress without unnecessary setbacks.

Wilmington Marathon! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ Nyssa ran her 7th marathon and came out with a 4 minute PR, and Nick ran his 1st marathon finishing strong. Always lessons to be learned but walking away from this one feeling proud and grateful 💪🏻

It’s go time! Marathon training has officially started over here at Flowstate Physiotherapy 🏃🏼‍♀️ Nick and I are running the Wilmington marathon in February, so lots of dark miles are in my future 😆

Things I am doing to make sure that I stay healthy and have a strong build:
✨Strength training 2x/week
✨Taking at least 1 full rest day each week
✨Staying consistent with my overall plan so that I can build mileage and intensity without any big spikes (and knowing that if something comes up I’ll need to adjust my plan accordingly)
✨Fueling for performance and recovery (aka eating often and a lot)
