Last week's Engineering Career Fair was incredible!

Students connected with top employers from across the country—from robotics and energy to medical devices, transportation, and design.

Companies like Amazon Robotics, WHOOP, Lightmatter, Formlabs, Crux Product Design, and General Dynamics Applied Physical Sciences came ready to discuss exciting full-time and internship opportunities in some of the most innovative fields in engineering.

Thank you to all the organizations that joined us and to our students for showing up ready to make connections!

Mark your calendar for the Harvard Biotech, Pharma, & Healthcare Expo on January 30, 2026!

At the Harvard Climate & Sustainability Expo, we caught up with Earthworks, a mission-driven nonprofit tackling the harms of fossil fuels and mining while partnering with frontline communities for change.

💡 Key takeaways:

• Earthworks amplifies community voices and builds power for environmental justice.

• They offer a 4-month fellowship for recent grads interested in climate advocacy — usually posted in June for an August start on earthworks.org.

Interested in advocacy or climate justice? Follow Earthworks and explore how your skills can make an impact.

Opportunities in renewable energy!

Last week at the Harvard Climate and Sustainability Expo, we interviewed the Candela Renewables rep to learn about utility-scale solar and battery storage development.

Key takeaways:

• 3-6 month internships available at their SF headquarters with hands-on project development experience

• Don't be afraid to cold email and reach out. Informational interviews matter

• Deep research skills (like thesis work) translate across climate careers

For Harvard students exploring the renewable energy space: make connections, stay curious, and take initiative. The path to climate impact starts with reaching out.

Have you reached out to a company cold recently? What was your experience? 👇
