We are Boston-area’s independent, locally-owned cosmetic and laser clinic with 20 years experience using laser technology to treat medical skin conditions, scars, unwanted body hair and tattoos, as well as treating the affects of aging and improving skin health. Essentially Bare has been working with neurotoxins and dermal fillers for more than 12 years, and we provide a range of services such as diamond-tip microdermabrasion, physician-grade chemical peels, skin tightening and cellulite reduction, and laser facials. We offer the standard 12-needle Rejuvapen and a 36-needle option for Microneedling, with growth factor from AQ.

Essentially Bare uses class 4 medical lasers, and only equipment from respected world leaders and innovators (Lumenis, Palomar/Cynosure, Lutronic, Viora) in aesthetic technology. It really makes a difference in the efficacy, quality and results of treatments.

We have found that the best course of treatment for medical skin conditions such as rosacea and melasma often includes several therapies and technologies to achieve the best results. All of our skin health plans are customized, and recommendations are based on a patient’s specific issue, desired outcome, and our experience in treating similar cases. We do not believe in forcing patients into big packages for services that they may or may not need. And, every person’s skin reacts differently. Our clinicians are not commissioned and have no interest beyond making sure that you are treated efficiently and correctly. As an independent business, we rely on patient satisfaction and word-of-mouth. You will always receive honest advice and recommendations.

The Essentially Bare practice has always been overseen by a physician, and our cosmetic aestheticians and R.N.s receive ongoing training for best practices in non-invasive cosmetic procedures including BOTOX, Juvaderm, Voluma, Volbella, Radiesse, Kybella and other fillers to achieve natural-looking rejuvenation and correction.
