December is International Sharps Injury Prevention Awareness Month—a reminder to stay vigilant with safe handling, disposal, and reporting practices. Protecting healthcare workers and community members starts with strong safety habits every day.

The CDC offers a “Sharps Safety Program Resources” page with guidance around preventing needlesticks and other sharps injuries in healthcare settings.

It's that time of year where everyone seems to be getting sick.🦠
Alcohol-based hand sanitizers can quickly reduce the number of microbes on hands in some situations, but sanitizers do not eliminate all types of germs.
To best protect yourself from illness, wash your hands.🧼
Did you know...? Estimated global rates of handwashing after using the toilet are only 19%. 80% of communicable diseases can be transferred by touch (person-to-person contact).

Washing hands prevents illnesses and the spread of infections to others.
Click the link in our bio to see why the CDC says handwashing is so important.
