Today we celebrated the opening of our new YouthQuake Access Center, located in Lowell at 40 Church Street.

YouthQuake is a drop-in youth and young adult access center that supports people aged 16-26. This program provides low-barrier access to meet the needs of young people; referrals or diagnoses are not required. The center is equipped with laundry and showers, a free clothing closet, and a full kitchen. There is no cost for the young adults who need us, regardless of health insurance.

We heard remarks from President and CEO Jean Yang, Massachusetts Department of Mental Health Acting Commissioner Beth Lucas, Vinfen staff, as well as Tikyra Downs and John Martin who are members of YouthQuake.

Thank you to State Rep. Tara Hong, State Representative Vanna Howard, and Rodney Elliott for State Senate for participating in our open house and supporting this program for young adults across Greater Lowell.

Join the Family Support Center at Vinfen along with Katherine Gyolai, founder and CEO of Find Love Safely, who will facilitate an engaging and interactive relationship workshop designed to empower participants with practical tools to build healthy relationships.

The session will include intentional moments of exploration and hands-on practice, all within a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.

Our Rockland Day Habilitation (RDH) program was excited to welcome family members from the Mary and Nancy Costello Fund, INC. who have generously supported our Holiday Giving Program for the past four years!

The Costello family provided gift cards for RDH members, lunch for staff, and a check donation. Their generosity comes in honor of Mary Costello, who was a beloved member of RDH for many years. Thank you for brightening the holidays for our members this season! ❤️
