Our Rockland Day Habilitation (RDH) program was excited to welcome family members from the Mary and Nancy Costello Fund, INC. who have generously supported our Holiday Giving Program for the past four years!

The Costello family provided gift cards for RDH members, lunch for staff, and a check donation. Their generosity comes in honor of Mary Costello, who was a beloved member of RDH for many years. Thank you for brightening the holidays for our members this season! ❤️

🎁 Give to TechConnect this holiday season: https://bit.ly/GiftConnection

Denise is legally blind, but learning how to use technology helped open up her world. Through Vinfen’s TechConnect program, she has gained more independence, confidence, and connection. But now federal funding cuts put this program at risk.

This holiday season, your generous gift will help ensure people like Denise stay connected to their communities and the things they love.

🎁 Give today: https://bit.ly/GiftConnection

Sandy is legally blind and used to feel technology was out of reach. Today, with support from Vinfen’s TechConnect, she uses Siri to call friends, manage appointments, and navigate her neighborhood independently.

Programs like this are now at risk due to funding cuts—but your support can help.

Vinfen’s Metro Boston self-advocates and staff had a great time attending the 27th Annual Massachusetts Advocates Standing Strong Conference at the end of November. This year’s theme, “Your Ideas Count,” emphasized the importance of self-advocacy, leadership, and elevating individual voices.

Self-advocates took part in networking sessions and meaningful discussions with peers and participants. They also took the opportunity to meet with Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services Commissioner Sarah Peterson and other officials who have made a positive impact on their lives. The day was marked by strong camaraderie, shared purpose, and inspiration drawn from stories and experiences celebrating advocacy.

This GivingTuesday, your support matters more than ever.

A major federal funding cut, $14.1M statewide, has put programs like Vinfen’s TechConnect at risk, threatening internet access and digital tools for the people we serve.

TechConnect provides devices, one-on-one training, and ongoing support so people can communicate, learn, and live more independently. Staff like Assistive Technology Specialist Jill Hartmann see every day how critical this program is.

Your GivingTuesday gift can help keep TechConnect going and ensure no one is left behind in an increasingly digital world. Every dollar truly makes a difference.

🎁 Give Today: https://bit.ly/GiftConnection

We see first-hand how connection empowers the people we serve. In today’s digital world, connection also means access to technology. Through our TechConnect Network, we can provide the people we serve with resources to access technology and learn digital literacy skills.

This year, federal funding cuts have eliminated millions of dollars in support of programs like TechConnect. Without your generosity, many people we serve may be left behind in an increasingly digital world.

Give the gift of connection today at the link above, where you can also learn more about how Vinfen residents Denise and Sandy, who are both legally blind, have learned to use technology to stay in touch with family, find their favorite music, and become more independent.

Vinfen proudly sponsored and attended HLA’s (Health Law Advocates) 30th Anniversary Benefit Breakfast, "Fighting for Healthcare Justice." HLA works to ensure universal access to quality health care in Massachusetts, particularly for those who are most at risk due to such factors as race, gender, disability, age, or geographic location.
