APTA MA was invited to attend this major announcement yesterday. Governor Maura Healey has proposed new regulations that would eliminate prior authorization for many health care services including physical therapy in Massachusetts. This is a major step forward for patient access to PT and significantly reduces unnecessary administrative barriers. Thank you to Derek Sople, APTA MA Public Policy Committee Chair for attending.
