Happy Lunar New Year! We’re a day early, but we’re so glad that Andy, our wonderful intern from The Commonwealth School, shared his family traditions with us. Thank you to the Cambridge Police Department for all their support- anytime and every time - and especially during events like last weekend’s snow storm. Chef Paul Dube and his team made and delivered soup and bread for officers to enjoy. TCH’s Director of Community Relations, Lisa Waxman offered our thanks. Officer Lieutenant Ponte and Officer Mui were glad to receive. What a nice surprise to have Officer's Mui and Guerra pop in to return the soup containers and to say hello to residents! Her survival after arrest, imprisonment, and slave labor in Holland, followed by deportation to Auschwitz, deprivation and torture is compelling.
