Cancer Education and Research Institute (CERI), formerly known as Cancer Research Simplified, is an independent, 501(c)(3) global non-profit organization. Its three-fold mission is to 1) provide simplified information about cancer and cancer research to cancer patients and the general public; 2) bridge the gap between cancer scientists and cancer patients; and 3) provide cancer research scholarships for high school students worldwide.

🎉Happy Birthday, Marie Curie - one of the GREATEST scientists of all time!

🧪Marie Curie’s Legacy in Science
Marie Curie pioneered research on radioactivity, discovering radium and polonium. Her groundbreaking work shaped modern physics, medical imaging, and cancer treatment. She remains the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different sciences.

🎗Impact on Medicine and Cancer Care
Curie’s advancements led to the use of radiation therapy, saving millions of lives worldwide. Her commitment to applying science for healing - especially during wartime (World War I) demonstrates her deep compassion for humanity.

🙌Honoring Her Spirit of Giving
On her birthday, we celebrate her generosity, innovation, and courage. Today, we carry her legacy forward through our global ™ campaign - bringing advanced, individualized care to those who need it most (like the patient JUST NOW in Lebanon who reached out to us urgently for his sister with stomach cancer - interestingly, November is Stomach Cancer Awareness Month. So, help us help a mother with three young children!).
