✨ PRIME Nexus® expands into large-volume delivery. ✨

Portal has now demonstrated 5.5 mL subcutaneous delivery on the PRIME Nexus platform, unlocking new possibilities for emerging biologics and long-acting formulations.

PRIME Nexus is purpose-built for large volumes and high-viscosity formulations, using software-controlled injection profiles to deliver consistent, comfortable injections, even for demanding use cases.

With its reusable device architecture, PRIME Nexus provides a sustainable and cost-efficient path across development, clinical use, and lifecycle management.

And because the platform was designed with scalability in mind, it creates a strong foundation for exploring even larger volumes in the future.

This weekend, members of the Portal Instruments team proudly supported and ran in the The Sumaira Foundation 🌸 5K in Weston, MA, helping raise awareness and funds for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) and related rare diseases.

We’re inspired by the Foundation’s mission and grateful to our employees who showed up with such energy and heart — both on the course and in the community. Moments like these remind us that making a difference goes beyond the work we do in the lab. 💙✨

April 22nd is Earth Day! Did you know that biohazards waste such as sharps cannot be thrown away in the trash? Improper disposal of needles and other sharps can pose a health and injury risk to the people who come in contact with them after being disposed. Let's all do our part in raising awareness for the proper disposal of sharps and keep our earth clean and safe!
