Guernsey County Health Department The Guernsey County Health Department is here for you. We strive to promote the health of Guernsey We have extended hours on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We provide public health services to improve your quality of life. Our services include: Environmental Health Services (food service inspections, private water system inspections, animal bite/rabies investigations), Emergency Preparedness Services, Community Health Services (adult and child immunizations, women’s health/family planning services, WIC, BCMH, lice prevention and control), Health Promotion and Public Health Information Services and Vital Statistic Services (birth and death certificates, burial permits). Please call for services available during those times.

Family Connects Ohio is a program designed to support families with newborns before the 6-week postpartum follow-up. A nurse will come to your home to check on the health and well-being of both you and your baby, guiding you through those first crucial weeks.

Whether you're navigating feeding, healing, sleep, or mood changes, Family Connects Ohio brings the support to you. 👶💖

✅ Available to all Guernsey County families with or expecting a newborn regardless of income or birth setting✅ Scheduled from 2 weeks postpartum up to 12 weeks✅ Personalized to your family’s needs and concerns
