Finding unexpected artwork from children is one of the best parts of a downsize. Often decades after its creation, clients get to enjoy a scribble or splash of color that was long forgotten.

Books are one of the hardest things to downsize when every shelf tells a story. To make it easier, we use a simple system: We tag the books our clients want to keep so they’re clearly marked, while the rest are sorted for donation to local libraries and charities.

One nonprofit is More Than Words, which employs local youth in their second-hand bookstores and thrift shops around the metro.
