Katherine came to Neville for short-term rehab after a fall that resulted in a T12 compression fracture and a right tibial plateau fracture. When she arrived, she required up to two staff members to assist with transfers, was unable to walk, and needed help with bathing, dressing, and toileting.
With hard work and support from our team, Katherine made tremendous progress. After being upgraded to touchdown weight-bearing, she became more independent with daily activities and even began walking with physical therapy—taking her first steps just before discharge.
“Staff is very attentive. They listen, explain what’s going on, and are so encouraging,” Katherine shared. Her partner added, “Communication was great, and staff welcomed family members.”
We’re proud to have supported Katherine on her road to recovery.
