For today's Testimonial Thursday, we'd like to introduce you to Frank SanFilippo, a Lead Patient Transporter at Wi******er Hospital. After spending 32 years as an IT professional, Frank found himself at a turning point in his life and began volunteering at Wi******er Hospital in 2009. What started as a way to give back, quickly became something much more meaningful.

Two years later, he officially joined the Patient Transport team, where he has found the work both meaningful and rewarding. One of the aspects he enjoys most is mentoring young transporters who are considering careers in healthcare.

Throughout his time at Wi******er Hospital, he has been honored with the PEER Award, the Physicians Appreciation Award, and the Nursing Appreciation Award. While these recognitions are deeply appreciated, the most meaningful part of his work continues to be the connections he makes with patients and colleagues each day.

On Wednesday, our ED team at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA, took time to reset, reconnect, and enjoy some well-deserved fun together.
