For more than 90 years, the Kornegay Family has had the privilege and honor of serving the residents of Kershaw County. The origins of our funeral home trace back to 1931 when it was founded by C. As the years passed, we expanded our services to include the Lugoff-Elgin community in 1985. Recognizing the needs of the community, we added a new chapel to our Camden location in 1998. Responding to the increasing demand for cremation services, in 2009, we proudly opened a new funeral home in Lugoff, complete with a state-of-the-art Crematory. Throughout our journey, we have held fast to the values instilled by Saluda Dunbar Kornegay, who emphasized the importance of treating others the way we would want to be treated ourselves. This philosophy has shaped our reputation for generations and remains at the core of everything we do today.
