✨ Happy Holidays from Balance, Center for Oral Health & Wellness ✨

As we close out the year, we want to express deep gratitude to our patients, partners, and community. Through Balance and our nonprofit outreach work with Maine Oral Health & Wellness (MOHW), it has been an honor to care for individuals and families across our region and to continue expanding access to preventive, whole-person oral health care.

Our team will be taking a brief holiday pause to rest and recharge. During this time, we will still be checking messages and emails periodically, and we’ll respond as soon as we’re able.

We wish you a season filled with warmth, rest, and wellness—and a hopeful, healthy start to the new year. 🌿

Traditional / Infrared - Sauna / Red Light
All three offer great health benefits, depends on what you're looking for:
If you can tolerate higher temperatures, a traditional sauna experience could be a good option for you. But you'll miss out on a lot of the benefits that come with infrared heat.
If you're looking to relax, sweat out toxins, and boost circulation, go for an infrared sauna. It gently heats your body from the inside out, helping with recovery, pain relief, and deep relaxation.
If your goal is glowing skin, faster muscle repair, or less inflammation, try red light therapy.
Our sunlighten mpulse sauna has both infrared, as well as red light , a full spectrum experience . You can even experiment with other colors which all have neat benefits !
Red light alone works by stimulating your cells' energy production to heal and restore from within.
The big difference is that traditional saunas just use heat, whereas infrared saunas use light and heat to support your whole body, while red light therapy alone uses just light to recharge you at a cellular level.

November is Oral Cancer Awareness Month! 🦷

Early detection can save lives, and degree-holding dental hygienists play a key role in spotting warning signs during routine visits.

✨ Settling into our NEW space has been such a joy… and our patients are already feeling the difference! ✨

We’ve been adding little touches that make it feel less like a dental office and more like home—because comfort and healing start with how you feel the moment you walk in.

🛋️ Kids have claimed the cozy couch—feet up and cuddling up with the cushions while reading a book and waiting for their siblings.
🎨 Patients are LOVING the beautiful murals in the treatment rooms—calming, natural, and so different from the sterile walls they’re used to. Did we mention we also have a TV and headphones ?!
🎶 easy going music Is on in our space all the time.

🧲 The PEMF mat treatments during cleanings have become a favorite—supporting cellular healing and relaxation while we care for your smile.
🌞 And even our little ones are asking for the warm infrared and red light therapy mat —a soothing place to land, especially on chilly Maine days.

This isn’t just a “new office”…
It’s a space designed with intention, wellness, and whole-body care in mind.
