Milam County WIC WIC — Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Nutrition Program of Milam County We have offices located in both Cameron and Rockdale.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, popularly known as WIC, is a nutrition program that helps pregnant women, new mothers, and young children eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy. WIC provides nutrition education and counseling, nutritious foods, and help accessing health care to low-income women, infants, and children. Warming Centers are coming online. Per the Emergency Management Coordinator, Rockdale Street Ministries will be open throughout this weather event. Rockdale Patterson Center, Milano VFD, and Grace Church in Cameron are on standby and will open up on an as-needed basis.

Additionally, the Central Texas chapter of the Red Cross will assist if disaster conditions arise.
