• Join us for our Alzheimer's Family Support Group meeting on Thursday, January 16th at 6 p.m. in the Morgan Activities Building. A light supper will be served. A speaker will be announced.

Dear all:

Here is wishing you the best for the Christmas Holidays. We invite you to join us on Thursday, December 19th at 6 p.m. in the activities of the Morgan Building.

The place is all decorated for Christmas and is so pretty.

We are sharing our favorite goodie at this meeting. So make your favorite appetizer or sweet item and bring it to share. Last year, we had a wonderful time sharing our foods together.

WE will have punch and hot cider.

Our speaker will be from the Bethany Hospice and afterward we will share ideas about how to get through the Christmas Season with our loved ones.

On Behalf of the Staff and Board of Camilla Retirement Village, We wish you the Merriest Christmas Ever for 2013 and a Happy New Year for 2014. Well, it is that time of year again when we are all so busy making those lists, hanging a wreath on the door, decorating the tree and planning all the food for Christmas. Please take time to sit quietly and drink a cup of cider, and enjoy the voices of family and friends. It is a blessed time in America and we praise God each day for our freedom to celebrate the holidays.
Please come by and visit us at Camilla Retirement Village. Our residents are so glad to see you and visit with you. They will share stories that will delight your heart. Join us in our songfest and have lunch with us. Call and let us know and we just make a seat for you at the table.
May you enjoy the Season….

Welcome to November from all of us at Camilla Retirement Village.
November brings us to the beautiful days of fall and also the wonderful blessings we enjoy at Thanksgiving in our nation. Whether you believe the first Thanksgiving was in Massachusetts or Virginia, we enjoy celebrating the harvests of the season with our loved ones and family. Many will gather in Camilla to share their favorite Southern Thanksgiving meal with family and friends. Do come by to see us at Camilla Retirement Village. We can bundle up and join you on the porch or sit one of our comfortable chairs and just do some talking.

Our Oktoberfest was a huge success last month. Parker Railey was just outstanding entertainment. He made us all just feel so good when he sang all those wonderful old songs we love. It was a glorious evening. Thank you Mary Jo Jones for presiding and helping plan this wonderful event. Your cookies were so good.

Well, it is time to enjoy the fall colors, red, yellow, orange and brown. It is the beautiful fall season that we enjoy so much in South Georgia and we welcome some cooler days and nights.
