My thoughts for today are inspired by the words of another physical therapist whom I greatly admire. "Why do we have 2 ears and 1 mouth, you think? Some physical therapists tend to talk a lot, maybe to show their patients how much they know rather than listening..." Paraphrasing from a very wise person: "When we talk we speak of the things we know, when we listen we learn new things"
At Starting Point Physical Therapy we allow each person the time to express their concerns which allows us to ask better questions and guides our evaluations to find the true cause(s) of a patient's problem. From there we can proceed to help resolve, restore and resume our patient's life!
Remember pain is just a signal there is a problem but the solution to the problem is often found within another area of the body. As we remain an essential business please consider contacting us! Our sessions are by appointment only and scheduled such that there is only one patient and one therapist in the clinic.
