Bloom Flower Farm 2026 ✨
We have some big things in the works for 2026 at the farm! More flowers, even more photographers & sessions, and additional small events you’ll be able to enjoy.

And we’re working toward something huge that’s been on our bucket list… pick-your-own flowers 🌼
It’s officially in the works, and we can’t wait to share this new experience with you in 2026.

Did you know? 🦋

In Arizona, butterflies handle winter in a few different ways depending on the species & most don’t actually migrate far like monarchs do. Here’s what usually happens:

🦋 1. Some migrate (like monarchs)
• Monarch butterflies that pass through Arizona often migrate to coastal California or central Mexico for the winter.

🦋 2. Many stay local and overwinter
• Most Arizona butterflies don’t migrate. Instead, they survive winter by going into a resting phase (called diapause) in different life stages:
• As caterpillars — hiding in leaf litter or tucked into plants
• As chrysalises — attached to branches or sheltered spots
• As adults — hiding in bark crevices, sheds, woodpiles, or dense vegetation
Common local species like swallowtails, queens, painted ladies, and sulphurs often stick around and wait out the cooler temps.

🦋 3. Some stay active if it stays warm
• Arizona’s mild winters mean some butterflies still fly on warmer days, especially in the low desert areas.

BIG UPDATE !! : an extra special and wonderful person went to bashes and filled the refrigerator up with various fruits, vegetables, household, essentials, cat food, and necessities, such as flour !! Elizabeth Briggs i’m so proud to share this community with you. Thank you so much for being an exceptional person !!!

With everything going on with SNAP benefits and so many people feeling food insecurity, we want to do what we can to support our community. Community is the base of humanity. When we look out for each other, everyone stands a little steadier.

Our chickens have been extra productive, so we have spare unwashed eggs available. They are in the refrigerator we normally use for Bloom Flower Farm, which is on our front porch. If you or someone you know needs eggs, please stop by and take what you need.

There is extra space in the refrigerator. If anyone would like to donate food for others, we are happy to take it and make sure it is available for anyone who needs it. You can come by the farm and pick up what you need at any time.

🌸 That’s a wrap for this flower season! 🌸

As we close the gates at Bloom Flower Farm for the year, I just want to say thank you — truly. This season has been filled with new friendships, lessons, and connections that remind us why we do what we do. Every bouquet shared, every delivery made, and every kind word of encouragement has meant the world to us.

We’re endlessly grateful for this amazing community and for all the people we’re building dreams with. Your support keeps this little farm blooming, both in flowers and in heart, and we can’t wait to grow alongside you. A special thanks to all of our customers, supporters, and all of the florists who continue to work with us!

An extra special thanks to for welcoming us . We are excited to see things growing this next season and working closely with you.

As well as , this season would not have been as successful as it was without you and your dedication to support a friend who desperately needed somebody to step in and help when life got tough ! I am forever grateful for you and your family!!! 

We’ll be taking the winter to rest, plan, and prepare for an even better season ahead. When we reopen in May, we’re excited to bring you beautiful fresh blooms, flower subscriptions, and new next year, our first-ever U-Pick days!
