We have a vacancy on Montezuma Rimrock Fire District Board. Please review the following information.

Montezuma Rimrock Fire District is accepting resumes and letters of interest to fill a vacancy on its governing board. Fire District board members are generally elected to a four year term. The person chosen to fill the vacancy will serve for the remainder of the vacant term ending November 30, 2018.

Applicants shall reside within the Montezuma Rimrock Fire District and be a registered voter of the District. Packets are available at: Copper Canyon Fire & Medical 26B Salt Mine Road Camp Verde, AZ 86322. Please return completed packets to the admin office by Thursday, June 7, 2018 by 12:00 pm.

Burn Season to open early this year due to warm weather and a predicted early start to Fire Season.

Burning is normally prohibited until March 1st but this year we are opening burn season on Friday February 9th at 7:00 a.m.

Make sure you have a 2018 burn permit. Permits are available at three locations: 26B Salt Mine Rd or 494 S Main St in Camp Verde and 3240 E Beaver Creek Rd in Rimrock.
