Healing Boo Boo’s Addiction Services, “Where HEALING starts in the HEART”, is in the Loving Memory of the founder, Latisha Weaver’s, older brother Richard “Boo Boo” Rayford Weaver. Richard Rayford Weaver, a Campbell resident who was reported missing from a house on Blossom Avenue where he was dropped off by his mother on Friday, July 18th, 2025. Richard’s mother says she never saw or heard from him again after dropping him off at this house in Campbell.
After 24 hours of not hearing from Richard, his mother started to get concerned. She went back to the house where she dropped Richard off, and the resident that lived there told her that he hadn’t seen Richard in a week, which was strange to his mother because she knew she had just dropped him off there and watched him walk into the house only a couple of days ago.
After a missing police report was filed on Monday, July 21st, 2025, the Campbell Police Department went to the house on Blossom, and the officers told Richard’s mother that the resident, who is a city official’s son, stated that he had dropped Richard off at another location in Campbell on Sunday, July 20th, 2025.
Seven days later, a body was found in a vacant lot in Youngstown, Ohio. An autopsy is currently being performed, and Richard’s family is positive that Richard died of a drug overdose with them knowing about the addiction that he was struggling with.
Richard’s family has proof that Richard’s life could have been saved in that house on Blossom and his body was removed from the home and dumped into the vacant lot where his body was found in Youngstown, Ohio. Healing Boo Boo’s was founded to create a “safe space” for addicts to surround themselves with people who may be fighting the same battles but are actively learning the tools to win the battle of addiction with a strong and unwavering faith in God and a positive involvement in the community‼️
We plan to save lives, give guidance, and proide valuable resources to our residents, and most importantly help those struggling with addiction find peace and hope for the future‼️ Richard was intelligent, kind, and full of life and love and he will be sadly missed by his children, parents, siblings, cousins and all of his family and friends‼️ Join us in our mission to fight the battle of addiction, and save lives one HEART at a time‼️
