AMP is celebrating CPAP Appreciation Day, which celebrates the first use of nasal CPAP in the literature in 1981. This day also advocates for the health of patients and celebrates a milestone in OSA history.

CPAP therapy, or Continuous Positive Airway Pressure, has improved the lives of millions of people with sleep apnea. For example, researchers have found that benefits start at two hours of nightly CPAP use and increase each hour up to seven hours. They also found that initial benefits are found at 90 days and increase at the one-year and two-year marks.
