Murphy Psychological Services is expanding! Excited to introduce two new pre-licensed mental health counselors who are joining the practice this month.
Melissa Charron Jarest, M.A., is a clinical mental health counselor (under supervision) and certified life coach offering telehealth services to adults navigating seasons of change. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about your next steps, Melissa provides a safe and supportive space to reconnect with your inner strength and clarity. Her work centers on whole-person wellness, emphasizing the connection between mind and body for meaningful, lasting healing.
Melissa specializes in self-worth and self-esteem, life transitions, and goal setting for personal growth. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered, blending clinical training with life coaching techniques, mindfulness practices, somatic awareness, and practical tools to support each journey
Filiz Wright, EdS.., is a pre-licensed mental health clinician and school psychologist who provides counseling for children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, ADHD, and learning differences.
Her counseling approach is relational, evidence-based, and integrative, grounded in an understanding that each individual’s story and development are unique. Filiz draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and person-centered, nervous-system-informed interventions to foster emotional awareness, coping skills, and resilience. With years of experience in schools and community settings, Filiz is passionate about helping clients build regulation, confidence, and connection within themselves and their relationships. Her practice is guided by warmth, curiosity, and collaboration, meeting each client where they are and supporting growth at their own pace.
Outside of her work, Filiz enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, hiking, and camping across New England. She also speaks Turkish and values bringing a multicultural perspective to her practice.
