We are pediatricians based in central Ohio dedicated to the health care of newborns, children, and adolescents for 60 years and counting. Our offices are located in Pickerington, Hilliard, Lewis Center, Canal Wi******er and Pickerington Local school District. Respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, is a common respiratory virus that usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms. Most people recover in a week or two, but RSV can be serious, especially for infants and older adults. RSV is the most common cause of bronchiolitis (inflammation of the small airways in the lung) and pneumonia (infection of the lungs) in children younger than 1 year of age in the United States. 1️⃣ 🐔 Infected birds have influenza viruses in their saliva, mucous and droppings

2️⃣ 🐔 Use caution when handling, culling, slaughtering or processing birds that appear to be infected

3️⃣ How do you protect yourself from avian influenza?
❌ Avoid contact with wild/domestic birds
❌ Don’t eat poultry that is sick or found dead
✅ Cook poultry and poultry products well

4️⃣ You can help stop the spread of Avian Influenza
📞 Report sick or unexpectedly dead birds to authorities
🏡 Remember to self-isolate if you are having symptoms of influenza and seek advice from a professional

Our Story

We are pediatricians based in central Ohio dedicated to the health care of newborns, children, and adolescents. We are a medical home for all of our patients. Our offices are located in Whitehall, Pickerington, Hilliard, and Lewis Center. We are open evenings and Saturday mornings for your convenience. The group has been in existence for over 50 years and has grown from two pediatricians to over 20, to better serve the children of central Ohio.
