Want help figuring out which bottle is best for your baby? See an IBCLC. Lactation consultants understand infant mouth mechanics so we can identify which bottle will work best for your baby.

I carry multiple ni***es with me to try them out and see which is easiest for your baby…and you. Any bottle with more than 3 parts is an automatic “no” for me!

Raising a child isn’t 50/50. The primary parent carries more of the household load, even when both parents work full time.

Before a baby arrives, it’s important to talk about how you will support each other to manage the house and kid.

After birth, even if the physical tasks appear to be taken care of 50/50, remember that one of you just grew a human from a cell and is recovering in an unfamiliar body. One of you is doing their “50” while also nourishing said cell with their body.

Paint on glass bottles often has lead in it. I recommend using glass bottles that have markings etched in it rather than painted markings.

Human milk is amazing!

A groundbreaking study provides the first global quantification of breastfeeding’s role in preventing chronic diseases.

The data is stunning 📈 and the study reinforces what we have long advocated: breastfeeding protection, promotion, and support are lifesaving, cost-effective, and essential.

Research tells us that babies who co-sleep in infancy, especially in those early years get around 13,000 extra hours of touch.

Thirteen thousand.

Because when you keep your baby close, day and night, they’re getting 10 to 12 extra hours a day of your skin, your warmth, your presence.

That’s not spoiling.
That’s wiring.

Touch is brain food.
It releases oxytocin, serotonin…
It lowers cortisol.

It teaches your baby’s body how to feel safe.
How to come back to calm.

We actually have studies showing
co -sleeping babies have lower stress reactivity meaning their little bodies bounce back from stress faster.

That’s not dependence.
That’s coregulation.
That’s safety being built from the inside out.

So the next time you’re contact napping,
bed sharing, doing whatever gets you both some rest and someone tells you you’re creating bad habits, remember this ~

You’re not creating a clingy baby.
You’re creating a resilient one 🖤
