Everyone I know is in transition.

You’ve been holding for too long.
Your body knows what your mind keeps postponing and now the cycle has turned.

The year is showing you the truth of what you need to do next.

Let it strip you down to that truth,
to pulse,
to purpose.

This is how women rebuild.
By listening.

Every ending is a threshold.

This is the alchemy of winter.

When the light returns,
you won’t be the same woman
who entered the dark.

You will be steadier.
Clearer.
Ready to run with the new sun.

That’s what my winter gathering Solstice is for.
The bridge between endings and beginnings.

REBIRTHING: I’m on a plane to France today. For awhile.

This year, my son moved out (fly, Pookie Pie!) and that was a kind of grief I did not expect. We need to talk more about leave-the-nest-pain-happiness.

This year, I let go of a marriage that was short lived and filled with life changing learning. It was a peaceful, loving parting. The grief ravaged me then the Grace kicked in.

This year, I wrote a book.

This year, I rebuilt my body.

This year, I got what I needed in 7 temples in Egypt.

This year, I started dancing again. We move differently after walking through fire, don’t we? Because The Phoenix is more powerful with each incarnation.

This year, I’m going to eat as many panier au chocolats as I want, lighting candles in every cathedral in Paris, giving thanks for consciousness, transmuting suffering, Divine Light and ASTOUNDINGLY BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIPS, teamwork, and trees, and Truth, and progress, and my Guides and gifts. And for all that’s in play and on the way. Yesss life.

This year, I got it:
JOY FOLLOWS COMPASSION.

Hold it all gently while you keep going. And you watch… JOY, babe.
She’s RIGHT THERE.
