❤️🎉 What a heart-felt celebration we had at our Heart Health Event! 🎉❤️

We put our knowledge to the test with trivia, sharing fascinating facts about how our hearts work, learning about heart disease, and discovering simple ways to stay healthy and strong. 💡🫀

We also talked about the risks of sitting for long periods and why movement matters. From gentle exercises to easy tips on breaking up sitting throughout the day, we got up, got moving, and felt the difference! 🚶‍♀️✨

Then it was time for some nostalgic fun! 🎶💕 We traveled down memory lane with a lively game of “Finish the Lyric” featuring popular love songs. There was plenty of laughter, big smiles, and joyful sing-alongs as we celebrated our hearts together. Of course, no celebration is complete without delicious heart-healthy snacks to keep us fueled and feeling good! 🥗🍓

We kicked off the new year in the most meaningful way, with a powerful meditation session at Pisgah Valley as we launched our new partnership with CenterWell Asheville! 🌿✨

Residents were guided in creating their own transformative meditation practice, one that’s personal and individual to them. It was a beautiful reminder that mindfulness isn’t one-size-fits-all; it’s about discovering what brings you peace and balance.

🌿 Tai Chi for Falls Prevention at Pisgah Valley 🌿

We were thrilled to see such a large turnout for our Tai Chi for Falls Prevention workshop! Residents and members learned gentle, joint-focused Tai Chi forms designed to improve mobility, increase body awareness, and support better balance.

Falls prevention is incredibly important to our community, and Tai Chi is a proven way to help build stability, confidence, and overall well-being.

Thank you to AJ Bowman for leading such an excellent and informative session!
