What a wonderful Christmas Party we had today! There was live music, great food, Santa Claus, selfie photo booth, babies, and goats! We had it all!! Santa showed up along with his newest reindeer recruits, Pumpkin and Peanut. It was so much fun, more fun pictures coming soon!
Oh, and by the way, those 250 cookies we decorated yesterday, were all eaten up today 😋

250 cookies decorated in under an hour! Many hands make light work. Thank you to all of our helpers, it was so much fun! We may have made a mess, but we had a blast and the cookies turned out great. Just in time for our big Christmas Party tomorrow, 2:00-4:00 pm. Can't wait!!

A very special thank you to Family Fare for organizing the horse-drawn rides downtown today! It is so wonderful to have local businesses supporting our community with fun events like this! And the weather was fantastic! It was such a beautiful day for a ride. Dianne took a group of residents for the fun. We really enjoyed the warmer weather. Even Santa Clause was there too!

We were happy to host the Retired Teachers Gathering. It was a great opportunity for our residents to connect with their colleagues and reminisce. Imagine the thousands of young minds these fine ladies have shaped over the years! We greatly appreciate their valuable service and hope to have them back soon!

Today the Cannon Falls Food Shelf received a generous donation from the ladies of the Cannon Rivers Quilters! Their recent silent auction yielded a competitive flurry of bidding right up to the final bell. The lucky winning bidders walked away with quality quilts and Christmas gifts, all handmade by the group. It was very nice of the director of the food shelf to stop by in person today to receive the donation and extend heartfelt gratitude to these ladies. This donation will go a long way to stocking the shelves of the food shelf and supporting local families in need. Great Job!! We are so proud of your amazing generous spirit!!
