After more than 20 years of leading this practice with care, patience, and just the right amount of “is it better… or worse?”—we’re somehow supposed to say goodbye. From the staff’s perspective, you weren’t just the doctor, you were the calm in the chaos, the fixer of everything (including things that had nothing to do with eyes), and the only person who could make early morning appointments feel slightly less painful. You built more than a practice—you built a family, and we’re lucky we got to be part of it. Even after your retirement your impact is still crystal clear (no prescription needed). We’ll miss your humble way of doing things, your quiet humor, and your ability to somehow know the answer before we finished the question. Enjoy retirement—sleep in, relax, and don’t worry, we promise to keep asking each other “one or two?” in your honor.
