Eastern Sun TCM Acupuncture and Wellness Center has expanded and is ready to bring on one or two more practitioners. This will be either a full clinic rental situation with 4 possible treatment areas or a shared, 2 treatment area set-up. Available days- with established hours of your choice- are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays (as well as ½ days on Sunday- if you want). The practice is in Canon City, CO, and would require a willingness to move to this area.
Conveniently, the owner also has a cute, fully furnished, 1 bedroom for rent as of August 1st, 2021 (short or long term).
I am looking for healthy and ambitious individuals who are passionate about helping others feel their best- utilizing our medicine with all its modalities. It is also important that you have good boundaries, understand your limitations, and can make referrals when needed. Most of all, someone who desires to put roots down in a smaller community and wants to be a part of that community and serve the folks that need our services. An individual who needs to feel a sense of ownership of their practice but does not want the obligations of owning and running a business is going to appreciate this set-up the most.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
• A positive attitude, with a need to keep growing, learning and improving in the healing arts.
• Skilled at treating a wide range of conditions including both mental and physical health, with comfort and ease.
• Excellent needle technique.
• Confidence in fire or silicone cupping.
• Accurate diagnosis of client conditions through discussion, observation, and intuitive healing knowledge.
• Excellent time management and work ethic.
• Comfort and efficiency using systems to operate daily activities and taking electronic notes to maintain clear
client files and evaluate efficacy of treatments and client progress (will teach).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.
• Ability to do receptionist tasks. None provided.
• Current CO State Acupuncture License.
• NCCAOM accredited.
• No history of disciplinary actions.
• Malpractice insurance and clinic liability coverage.
NOT REQUIRED- BUT WOULD BE GREAT:
Certification in tai chi, chi gong, or yoga instruction
In network with at least one insurer

Have you heard of CBG?
CBG is another cannabinoid from the cannabis plant. CBG tends to carry even less THC than CBD leaving it to be essentially THC free. Like CBD it is known to help with pain management, inflammation, sleep aid and relaxation. CBG is known to enter the endocrine system faster than other cannabinoids and CBG ingested can help promote healthy brain function, can help with seizures and can help with better concentration and focus!
CBG is thought to be one of the most expensive cannabinoids to produce, so much so that it has been dubbed “the Rolls-Royce of cannabinoids.”
Unlike CBD, which has a relatively low affinity for cannabinoid receptors and acts mostly through indirect interactions with the endocannabinoid system, CBG is thought to elicit its therapeutic effects directly though interaction with the CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors in the brain.
