It's Mom Talk Monday!! Instead of me talking in a reel today (which, I'm now realizing is much quicker and easier for me to post lol) Enjoy the creation that took me way longer than I anticipated 😂 😜

On a more serious note...🤓

In every newborn I see, I am checking these 3 things first:

Head movement. Spinal movement. Nervous system function.

A lot of times, I notice this immediately when parents bring the baby in the car seat and the head is tilted to one side....

All of this can be affected by birth and early positioning—and they can show up in ways that us parents notice every day and brush off to being "just a phase".

Things like:
• preferring one side
• difficulty settling
• feeding challenges
• or general fussiness

Moms and Dads are surprised to learn how connected these things can be. And also… how gentle it is to check and support a baby’s body through chiropractic care.
If you’re a new mom (or dad), this is something worth being aware of! 💜

It’s Mom Talk Monday!

No one talks about what birth can do to a baby’s body. So let’s chat about that today. 👶

Birth is incredible… but it can also be a lot on a baby’s little body.

Whether it’s:
• a long labor
• a very fast delivery
• a C-section
• or assisted delivery (forceps/vacuum)

Each of these can place different kinds of stress on a baby’s head, neck, and spine.

Sometimes that stress shows up as:
• a preference for turning their head one way
• difficulty settling or sleeping
• tension during feeding
• or general fussiness

And while these things are often brushed off as “normal,” they can also be signs that a baby’s body is holding onto tension.

This is one of the reasons some parents choose to have their baby checked by your favorite pediatric chiropractor.

The goal isn’t to “fix” a baby — it’s to gently support their nervous system and help their body move and function more comfortably.

Many parents are surprised to learn how gentle and specific chiropractic care for babies really is.

If you’re a new mom, just know this:
You’re not doing anything wrong — sometimes babies just need a little extra support and TLC after birth (as do you). It takes a village. We are humbled and honored to be a part of so many villages. 🤍

We are HIRING! Looking for the right person to join our team on the evenings on Wednesdays and Thursdays!

We are seeking someone health-oriented, motivated, energetic, dependable and extremely personable to run our front desk.

Applicant must be hard-working, a great multi-tasker, outgoing and self-motivated professional and an advocate of chiropractic.

Must be friendly and have excellent customer service, compassion for children, and phone skills. Time management skills are a necessity. We are looking for a long term and dedicated employee to continue to grow with us.

Responsibilities would include helping manage the front office, answering phones and texts, scheduling patients, greeting patients, helping with overall patient flow, and checking our lovely patients out.
