Footprints Doula Services Birth & Postpartum Doula, Lactation Counselor, Childbirth Educator I am a certified doula through DONA International.

www.dona.org I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor and Childbirth Educator. As a birth doula, I accompany women in labor to encourage, offer emotional, physical, and informational support, and help with relaxation techniques. I can give both the mother and her partner reassurance, perspective, suggestions for different positions to help labor progress, and comfort measures.

As a postpartum doula, I offer whatever support is needed for the new mother and her family. I can help with breastfeeding initiation, newborn care, cooking, cleaning, errands, etc. and direct mothers and families to other resources that they may need. Hi Everyone- things have been a bit quiet on my end. Year 2 of grad school plus internship means my time is pretty limited, but I wanted to let folks know that I'm still teaching a few classes! As a birth doula, I accompany women in labor to encourage, offer emotional, physical, and informational support, and help with relaxation techniques. I can give both the mother and her partner reassurance, perspective, suggestions for different positions to help labor progress, and comfort measures. As a postpartum doula, I offer whatever support is needed for the new mother and her family. I teach 6 week Evidence Based Birth classes and 4 hour “Crash Course” Childbirth Ed classes in Plainfield, CT and Colchester, CT as well as private in-home childbirth classes.
