A new law signed by Governor JB Pritzker protects patients by limiting the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in therapy and psychotherapy services. This measure prohibits anyone from using AI to provide mental health and therapeutic decision-making.

✨ Milestones aren’t always marked by rings or baby showers. Healing, growth, and personal courage deserve to be seen and celebrated too.

As a therapist, I’ve witnessed the quiet bravery it takes to leave a toxic relationship, to face trauma, to go back to school, to run that first mile (or 26). These moments may not come with balloons, but they are just as worthy of recognition.

Let’s normalize celebrating emotional resilience, inner work, and the non-linear paths we walk toward becoming whole. 💛

🕊️ As Pride Month comes to a close, this Pride Month feels a bit heavier. As rights are being stripped away in some states, the fear and isolation many LGBTQIA+ youth experience is growing.

Too many young people have taken their own lives, not because of who they are, but because they feared rejection from the people they loved the most. Some of their family members may never even know....

Please, remember this:

💔 Some kids would rather die than disappoint their family.
👀 Your kids are watching you. They're listening.
💬 Even if you don’t understand, speak with compassion.
🌱 Acceptance doesn’t require full comprehension, it requires love.
🫶 You don’t have to "get it" to support it.

Create homes, schools, and communities where youth don’t have to choose between authenticity and safety.

Be the reason a child feels seen.
Be the reason they stay.
Be the safe place. 🌈
