Hey Everyone! So we just learned that Bill was recently adopted! To whomever adopted him, please stop out at Apex Herbals at Belden Village Mall as we have a FREE adoption kit for you filled with bowls, food, treats, toys and more! Courtesy of Apex Herbals for helping us in our adoption quest!

With Bill getting adopted, it's time that we pick 3 new pups to help get adopted as we prep to do a supply run here by next week as Apex will be paying The Dogs at the Stark County Dog Warden a visit! We are on a streak helping get some pups at the Stark County Dog Warden forever homes!

Remember, all donations and Round-ups at Apex Herbals are doubled with our efforts to help get hard-to-adopt dogs get their forever homes! While we have pups in our rotation, donations and round-ups are doubled again and used to get supplies for the Stark County Dog Warden!

UPDATE: ADOPTED 🙌🏻🙌🏻 What’s a guy gotta do to get adopted?! Bill has been waiting since October 7th, and he’s getting weary of all the kennel life. There’s not enough time for toys and human interaction and too much time staring at walls and concrete.

Bill is the older gentleman who’s stolen everyone’s hearts 💕🐾 Just look at those teefers and pleading eyes 🥺 At around 7-years old, he is considered “senior” but he certainly doesn’t act like it 😆 He told us “its just a mindset” and we love watching him play and be spunky. He quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite — and it’s easy to see why 😍 Bill keeps a spotless kennel, and has the most adorable little underbite that’ll melt you instantly 🥹

Bill is affectionate, social, and full of charm. But despite his wonderful temperament, he has found himself homeless — and he doesn’t deserve to spend one more day in a lonely, uncomfortable kennel 💔 Also, if you adopt Bill, Apex Herbals, LLC is offering supplies to set everyone on a fresh start! (See flyer in comments!)

Come meet Bill and see for yourself what a perfect companion he is. Bring the whole family (dogs too, cats in a hard-sided carrier) for a meet and greet! 🏡💛



Every dog comes with donated, free training sessions with local trainers: Cosmic K9 (2 sessions) and Hoperidge RTA (1 session). Adopters should research post-adoption decompression and the rule of 3s: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine and 3 months to start to feel at home.

The Shelter Pet Studio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run by volunteers, independent from the shelters we assist. SPS writes bios based on our experience with a pet and are not making guarantees.
