Curious about the meaning of the Holistic Haven Wellness logo?!? Check it out below 👇🏼

The first Holistic Haven email went out Monday 💌 If you didn’t see it, check your junk/spam folder – recent updates have impacted email delivery.

Now… curious about the meaning behind the HHW logo? It was created by the uber talented, creative genius Lera Street.

The Holistic Haven logo is a visual invocation of safety, joy, and a sacred return to the body.

At the center is a magnolia – one of the oldest flowering plants on Earth and a living remembrance of my Mississippi Gulf Coast roots. The magnolia is also tattooed on my arm within my owl piece, a reflection of how Owl Eye Somatics and Holistic Haven are deeply embodied in and on me.

The magnolia represents ancestral wisdom, feminine strength, and dignified, sensuous beauty. It reminds us that softness and resilience are not opposites. That pleasure and power can coexist. That opening is wisdom.

Within the heart of the flower is a design inspired by the Zia Sun – symbolizing balance, harmony, and life’s sacred cycles. Placed at the center of the magnolia, it honors the body as a source of intuition, creativity, aliveness, and play. Joy and healing are not linear destinations – they are rhythms. Sacred returns.

In some variations, the flower is gently cradled by organic forms that resemble both branches and open hands – reaching upward to the universe and rooting downward into Mother Earth.

They represent being held. Held by nature. Held by community. Held by something greater.

Because when the body feels safe, it softens. And when it softens, healing becomes nourishment. Connection. Pleasure woven into everyday life.

And the colors – bold reds and radiant yellows – were chosen with intention. At first, I thought I wanted earthy tones – the muted desert palettes often associated with New Mexico. They felt grounded. Sensible. Expected.

But when I saw them together my body contracted. An undeniable tightening in my chest. As a somatic practitioner, I’ve learned to trust those cues. The body speaks before the mind does.

I realized those colors were connected to heavier chapters of my life – seasons of survival and holding it all together. It was a powerful reminder that even color carries memory. So I listened.

The bright palette felt alive. Expansive. Joyful. Holistic Haven chose brightness on purpose.

Together, these elements express the essence of Holistic Haven: A sanctuary where the body is supported, joy is welcomed, and healing feels grounded, playful, vibrant, and alive. A place to remember yourself. A place to soften. A place to come home.

And it feels like divine timing as we enter the Fire Horse year – bold, radiant, alive.

Practitioner Spaces Opening at Holistic Haven Wellness

I’m focused on curating a community of practitioners rooted in holistic, trauma-informed care with a shared passion for co-creation, pleasure-centered wellness and sustainable ease.

At Holistic Haven Wellness, we believe wellness grows in spaces that feel safe, intentional, and whole – and where joy, pleasure, and humanity are welcome. By integrating scientific knowledge with body-based and ancestral practices, we support deeply embodied, holistic care.

We have private practitioner rooms available (10 x 11.5) and are currently welcoming practitioners in – but not limited to:

• Massage Therapy
• Esthetics
• Acupuncture
• Midwifery
• Holistic / Integrative Nurse Practitioners
• Therapy & Counseling
• Women’s Health & Trauma-Informed Modalities
• Unique and emerging modalities are warmly welcomed

Trauma-informed training is a big plus. If you haven’t received formal training but are open to learning, we’re open to you.

If you’re longing for a space that values nervous-system-aware care, collaboration over competition, pleasure alongside professionalism, and honoring the whole human – this might be home.

🌗 ANNOUNCEMENT: Holistic Haven Wellness is being born 🌓

As we arrive at the final full supermoon of the Snake year, I’ve been reflecting on a month of slowing down, feeling deeply, and letting the next step reveal itself. I even took a solo trip to the mountains of New Mexico to reconnect with my body and move out of survival mode.

Through that soft unwinding – old wounds opening, a left-eye injury, and a lot of truth rising since October – clarity finally landed:

Canton is where I want to root this next chapter.

As one of the few practitioners in my field in the entire state (and the only one offering this exact work), I could technically go anywhere. But my heart kept saying here.

And from that grounded clarity, I’m honored to share…

✨ Holistic Haven Wellness is coming in 2026. ✨

A 2,400 sq ft sanctuary designed for:
- up to 6 trauma-informed practitioners
- 2 cosmetologists
- the private space I’ve long needed for my own sessions
- workshops, gatherings, and community healing

A space where every body is welcome.
A space that will never be used as a weapon.
A space where no story, history, or identity becomes a tool of harm.

Owl Eye Somatics will continue as my personal work, while Holistic Haven becomes a collective of holistic practitioners co-creating something powerful for East Texas. I’m grateful to be growing alongside Euphoria Wellness, Pure Radiant You Wellness, and the newly expanding Clarity Gym & Wellness – each bringing their own medicine, our own specialties, our own heart for this community.

Holistic Haven will be a home for everyone – bodies in pain, hearts in repair, nervous systems searching for safety, and anyone who feels they’ve tried everything else. And most importantly, a place to find pleasure, joy, and genuine fun again.

I’m excited, hopeful, a little terrified – and so deeply ready.
