Phyllis H. Pool, age 76, of Ball Ground, GA, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Hightower Baptist Church, with Rev. Ronnie McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in the Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 19, 2026, and she will lie in state at Hightower Baptist Church on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.

Mary "Jewel" Rollins, age 83, of Jasper, GA, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026, at her residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Canton, GA.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2026, and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Weldon and Ivilee Padgett, and sister, Barbara King.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Wigington officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 10:30 AM with Military Honors by the United States Army.

The procession from the Funeral Home to the Georgia National Cemetery will leave promptly at 9:45 AM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, for those who wish to attend the Service.
