The CAPHUB Team had a great time connecting with our family at the last week. We are always seeking to advocate, learn, and grow so that we can serve our commYOUnity effectively and efficiently. The PACH Conference allowed us to connect with current and prospective partners serving in similar capacities.

Our partners said it best- stronger together! Raising the health of even one Ohioan benefits All Ohioans.

One of the best parts of attending the Second Annual Black Maternal Health Summit was seeing so many familiar faces doing incredible work in our community 💙

It was truly encouraging to connect with organizations we are proud to partner with, including Steadfast Health, Community Action, Pathways Hub of Stark County, and Molina Health.

A special shoutout to Jennifer Robinson from Steadfast Health, and from Pathways Hub of Stark County — Schanel Harvey, Sara Gidley, and Alex Nibbling (not pictured) — for the work they continue to do in our community.

Also representing the Stark Blessing Box Initiative, our CEO Maiharriese McDonald was proud to be in attendance and part of such an important conversation.

Moments like this remind us that we are not doing this work alone. When organizations come together, share knowledge, and support one another, we create stronger, healthier communities for everyone.

We’re grateful to stand alongside so many dedicated partners who are committed to making a difference every single day.

April is National Minority Health Month.
SCCAA's Community Action Pathways HUB works to
✅Empower at-risk individuals, to overcome social barriers to health, in order to elevate the health of Stark County.
✅Ignite change that ensures that everyone has access to the services, tools, and resources necessary to promote good health and wellbeing.

Are you or someone you know pregnant and could benefit from being connected to community services and support? If so, then you have the opportunity to take advantage of this program.

Your health and the health of your baby are important.
The HUB is a ‼️FREE‼️ program that can help you have a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
✅The Community Action Pathways HUB provides support, education and uses life experience to help connect you to other community resources.

The HUB utilizes Community Health Workers that assist in decision making during pregnancy. They link you to services in the community that can help you and your baby, such as:
✅Access to food, economic stability, education, financial management, health and healthcare, support system, transportation, baby items, and much more

Don't sleep on these helpful tips to keep your loved ones safe!
Did you know?..
😴Babies sleep safest on their backs.
🛏️Use a firm and flat sleep surface covered by a fitted sheet with no other bedding.
🌡️Do not let your baby get too hot during sleep
🧸Do not put soft objects, toys, crib bumpers, or loose bedding anywhere in the sleep area.
🚫Think about giving your baby a pacifier for naps/nighttime but do not attach the pacifier to anything.
