Mission Statement of Purpose: To empower at-risk individuals to overcome the social determinants of health and racial inequities in order to elevate the health of Stark County. Vision Statement: To challenge systematic barriers and ignite change that ensures that everyone has access to the services, tools, and resources necessary to promote good health and wellbeing. Alliance Residents!
Emergency Housing Assistance applications will be available Friday, December 5th, 2025, from 10am–2pm at The Alliance Commons.

If you’re facing late rent, rental deposit needs, mortgage issues, or property tax concerns, SCCAA may be able to help.

Bring required documents (ID, Social Security cards, birth certificates, income proof, etc.).

Blessing Box #45 is now open, and we’re incredibly proud of Sierra (C-CHW), who helped bring this resource to life for families in Canton.

The Canton Winter Warming Shelter will open tomorrow Dec. 1 at St. Paul AME Church located at 1800 Tuscarawas St. E. The shelter will operate nightly from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. to provide a safe, warm place for our residents in need.

SARTA will offer free transportation to the shelter during regular hours on Route 107. If a ride is needed after hours, please call Canton City Dispatch at 330.649.5800.

Thank you to all of the community partners and donors for making this venture possible this winter season.
