Greetings:
We are all very much reeling from the news and events that are unfolding due to the coronavirus pandemic. In an attempt to keep everyone I work with, my community and my family safe, I have made the decision to move all sessions online, onto a HIPAA secure teleconferencing platform, effective immediately. If we currently have a session set up, that session is reserved for you, and I am still available at that time. I will send you a link to the telehealth platform I will be using, which you will be able to access via your phone or computer.
This is a decision I make with a very heavy heart. I value our in-person conversations very much, and take pride in creating a physical environment that feels comfortable, open and safe. I do not feel as though I can provide that environment at the moment, so I will do what seems to be the next best thing. Rest assured, I will return to doing in person sessions in my office as soon as it is safe and advisable to do so.
In the meantime, thanks to the marvels of technology, I think that I will be able to meet your needs through video conferencing. I intend to make myself available to everyone with whom I work, as we make our way through this confusing and painful time together.
If you have any questions, please email me directly at nathan@spoonrivercounseling.com. You may also call me at 309.740.2171, but be advised that I will likely be much quicker to respond via email.
Please know that it is an honor and a pleasure to serve the Canton and broader Fulton county community, and we'll get through this together. Stay safe, focus on the most important things, and don't forget to breathe.
With Love,
Nate
