The Bonneville County Coroner’s Office is issuing a public health alert regarding the dangerous and potentially fatal consequences of using Kratom (also known as Thang, Krypton, Kakuam, Ketum, and Maeng Da leaf, among others). This warning comes in response to a concerning increase in deaths across our county directly linked to the herbal substance.

Clinic Services

St. Lawrence County Chemical Dependency Clinics, located in Gouverneur, Massena, Canton, and Ogdensburg, provide outpatient counseling for individuals and their families faced with Substance Use Disorders. Our clinics provide group, individual, and family counseling services as well as Medication Assisted Treatment. Crisis walk-in appointments are available at all sites from 8am-3pm, however scheduled appointments are preferred. All insurances are accepted and a sliding fee scale is available if needed.
