Greetings,

My name is Annie Lum. I am a Registered Nurse with 7 years experience in Geriatrics, Hospice, and ICU. I have always had a passion for caring for others. In fact;, I have cared for my elderly grandmother for over 10 years.

However, when I started working full time again after having my second child I had difficulty caring for her full time and searched for alternative living options for her. From my search I found many large assisted living and nursing homes in the area. As I toured the locations I was not satisfied with the quality of care or the staff to resident ratios. I felt many residents did not received the best quality of care and that my grandmother deserved better.

This gave me the idea to open up Ridge Manor Personal Care Home in Canton, GA where the residents would be taken care of in a comfortable “home like” environment with 1:3 staff to resident ratios.
