We are continuing to support our Veterans and their families by to contributing to the Veteran and military families Sam Center’s (Serving Area Military); Thanksgiving and Christmas programs. We ae requesting our communities support this action step.
The programs are: Help set the table this Thanksgiving for our Veterans and their families in need and Make the Season Merry and Bright for our Military Families, (Christmas Toy Drive).
We can start this action by acquiring: Non-Perishable food items/personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies/paper products in everybody’s offices.
Help Set the Table this Thanksgiving Items: Can soups, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn muffin mix, egg noodles, broth, turkey gravy, canned corn, canned green beans, biscuit mix, Jell O mix, fruit cocktail, aluminum roasting pans, $10 grocery store gift cards, and notes of thanks and appreciation.
Christmas Toy Drive: Make the Season Merry and Bright for our Military Families Items: Sam Center is in need of toy donations particular for boys and girls, ages birth –16. Specific needs include boardgame, Stem kits, Legos, Nerf and makeup kits for teens
Items can be dropped off at the Sam Centers, 413 Lincoln Way E. Massillon; Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 9AM to 3PM, and 8101 Manchester Road, N.W., Canal Fulton. 8AM -4PM at or items can be dropped Sprandel Chiropractic Clinic, 1412 Cleveland Ave, Canton Ohio. We will send out the flyers to both programs.

Expanding Medicare Chiropractic Coverage: A Policy Imperative: HB539 and S106.

Current Medicare chiropractic coverage is severely limited, forcing beneficiaries toward more invasive, costly options. Robust evidence supports both clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of comprehensive chiropractic care.
HB539 and S106 offer a fiscally responsible approach to expanding coverage.

We urge policymakers to:
Review the substantial evidence base supporting expanded coverage
Consider the positive budget implications over the 5-year analysis period
Recognize the role of chiropractic care in addressing the opioid crisis
Advance HB539 and S106 to committee hearings for further discussion
