Meet Drake! 👋

Drake has faced significant challenges in his life. Yet, despite these obstacles, he has maintained an unwavering passion for becoming a mechanic.

Recently, Drake had the incredible opportunity to immerse himself in the world of mechanics at Liberty Ford. It was a transformative experience for him, as he observed the intricate workings of a mechanic’s role. He eagerly learned about the technician’s responsibilities and the operating mechanisms of the vehicles themselves.

The sparkle in Drake’s eyes when he discusses his dream of being a mechanic is contagious. His enthusiasm is evident, reflecting a deep-rooted love for the trade. He possesses a strong foundation of knowledge, and it’s clear that his heart lies within this field.

During his hands-on experience, Drake actively participated by checking the air filters of various cars and attentively monitoring the process as oil changes took place. He was particularly fascinated when he watched a technician replace the motor in a Ford Focus, absorbing every detail of the process.

Drake's journey is truly inspiring, and it’s a joy to witness his dedication and excitement for mechanics shine through.

We had an amazing morning at the 6th Annual Mall Walk for Awareness at Belden Village Mall! 🎉✨

We were proud to bring a group of 40 participants and team members to support this important event hosted by Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Stark DD)!

After the walk, we kept the energy going with a delicious lunch at La Pizzaria to celebrate everyone who came out to walk with us.

Grateful for the opportunity to support our community and raise awareness together. 🧡

Funded through an ArtsImpact grant from ArtsinStark, The Art of Inclusion brought together adult artists from The Workshops Inc. and young artists from GiGi’s Playhouse Canton, a down syndrome achievement center.
