This year’s Great Pumpkin Race was a home run!

Joined by over 50 of our staff, friends, and family, we once again took home the award for largest team! 🏆

Held annually, The Great Pumpkin Race raises funding for Stark County Special Olympics programming.

We’re so grateful for opportunities like these to not only give back to our community, but also spend time with our staff! ⚾️💙

❤️ 🧡 Issue 1 is a continuous levy for Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities that will cost the owner of a $100,000 home $4.66 a month!

When a person with a developmental disability begins receiving support through Medicaid home and community-based services waivers, Stark DD is responsible for funding the non-federal share of those services for the duration of need. Because these supports are often lifelong, a continuous levy ensures stable, ongoing funding to meet those obligations.

💙 💚 If approved, it is estimated to generate approximately $21.4 million annually.

Vote FOR Issue 1 on or before Nov. 4th.

Meet Juanita! 👋

Juanita has been employed by McDonald's for over 30 years! Throughout her time at the restaurant, she has been trained in every area of the kitchen. Juanita enjoys the routine and structure that McDonald's provides, and shares that the company treats her with the utmost respect! Juanita appreciates the people, the atmosphere, and the repetitive nature of her work. Juanita also shared that she cannot see herself ever working anywhere else!

Meet Edward! 👋

Edward is employed as a dishwasher at Buehler's, where he has worked for three years! Edward is independent, reliable, and trustworthy. In addition to his daily tasks, he trains all new employees working as dishwashers at Buehler's, including volunteers, interns, and participants in the youth summer program! Edward enjoys helping others, and his coworkers appreciate him.
