In observance of MLK Day, the office will be closed on Monday.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy reminds us that caring for one another, standing up for justice, and strengthening our communities is ongoing work.

❄️❄️Please note: our Monday Night Family Support Group is CANCELED Due to Inclement Weather❄️❄️

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

His words remind us that courage is revealed not in comfort, but in moments of challenge—when standing up for justice, dignity, and humanity matters most.

At NAMI, we carry that call forward by advocating for mental health care, equity, and compassion for all. 🕊️

Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. — a leader who reminded us that doing what’s right is rarely easy, but always necessary.

Dr. King taught us that speaking up matters. That justice, equity, and compassion require action — not silence. At NAMI, those values guide everything we do.

Recently, NAMI affiliates from across the country came together to advocate for the return of critical SAMHSA grants, restoring vital mental health services for our peers and families living with mental health challenges. This is what honoring Dr. King’s legacy looks like today: standing up, using our voices, and protecting access to care for those who need it most.

On MLK Day, and every day, we recommit ourselves to building a more just, supportive, and mentally healthy community. 🤍✊🏽
