Today, our residents were treated to a delicious (and dazzling!) Banana Foster demonstration by the incredibly talented Chef Joel! From the sizzling skillet to the perfectly caramelized bananas — and of course that signature flambé — it was truly a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds.

Our residents loved gathering around, learning a little culinary magic, and enjoying every sweet bite. Experiences like this make life at Waltonwood Cherry Hill so special.

Our Charity Club will be selling slices of delicious birthday cake, freshly prepared by our in-house pastry chefs, to raise funds for Birthday Cake Kits for families in need. Each Birthday Cake Kit will include a box of cake mix, birthday candles, a baking pan, and a can of Sprite. How can you participate? Receive a slice of birthday cake in exchange for a cash donation or by donating an item for the Birthday Cake Kit.

Today our residents and associates from Waltonwood Cherry Hill had the absolute joy of visiting the wonderful students at Rosedale Elementary School with Livonia Public Schools for Read Across America Day!

Together, we shared the magic of storytelling, enjoyed arts and crafts, and spent meaningful time connecting across generations. There is something truly special about watching young readers light up during a good book — and our residents loved every minute of it!

Moments like these remind us that literacy brings people together at every age. Thank you to Rosedale Elementary for welcoming us and for helping us celebrate the joy of reading “Winnie the Pooh: Pooh’s Honey🍯Trouble” in such a beautiful way.
