Golfers, if your back tightens up halfway through a round, it’s usually not the swing. It’s the setup.
Joints that don’t rotate well tend to jam, and that’s why warming up matters. Using your club to gently move side to side or open up the shoulders can help your body rotate the way the swing actually asks it to.
Good form seals the deal. When you hinge forward with a tall spine (not rounded or hunched), you’re putting your body in a stronger, safer position to swing with power and control.
Stretch first, keep your posture honest, and let your body work with you so you can get more distance, more consistency, and a lot more enjoyment out of the game. ⛳
