✅Check on your people. It is someone you know right now going through this.
Functional depression is often linked to persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia).
• People may appear to manage daily life (work, school, family) but struggle internally with:
• Low mood
• Fatigue
• Hopelessness
• Loss of interest or joy
It can go unnoticed because the person is still “functioning.”
