Do not let the injustices you witness extinguish your light. Stand grounded, like the mountain and connected, like the trees and shine into the world the way you always have. Let us be the love the world needs.

Let us be aware of the calm, connection, compassion, courage, creativity, confidence, curiosity and clarity we all were born with. Yes, acknowledge the anger, sadness, disappointment, anxiety that make sense here, because they do - but, don’t let them consume our light.

We can choose to shine on with the calm, compassion, connection and courage we were born with. We can choose to walk with love.

Surgeon General Vivek Murthy in an op-ed in the New York Times Monday said the threat social media poses to children is an emergency, and he urged Congress to put a label on the apps as with cigarettes and alcohol.
