COMING IN 2026: We will add a "Sound Zone" for noisy sensory play! This new activity fence will house our existing noise-making sensory toys and some new outdoor musical instruments, which will make the original fence a space for guests who prefer quieter sensory play. We thank S & S Fencing, LLC for installing the fence, as well as the endowment teams from St. John's Lutheran Church (Springfield) and Grace and Peace Lutheran Church (Peoria) for funding the fence construction through grants for TLC Sensory Place Phase 2!

Here's a little virtual tour of the space. In addition to the sensory activity fence, we have a picnic table and bench that are both in the shade for most of the day. Please note that over the coming months, we will be replacing the parking stanchion and chain barriers with fencing of various types thanks to generous grants from Grace and Peace Lutheran Church (Peoria) and St. John's Lutheran Church (Springfield)!
