Canton has a Winter Warming Shelter at St. Paul AME Church (1800 Tuscarawas St. E.) that is open nightly from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. to provide a safe, warm place for residents in need.

SARTA - Stark Area Regional Transit Authority will offer free transportation to the shelter during regular hours on Route 107. If a ride is needed after hours, call Canton City Dispatch at 330.649.5800.
