We're celebrating Reading Month by kicking off a monthly book recommendation series đź“–

This month's recommendation is The Mountain Is You: Transforming Self-Sabotage Into Self-Mastery by Brianna Wiest.

Recommended by our awesome therapist, Gabriella, this book is a great option for teens and adults who want to improve their self-understanding and decrease self-criticism and self-sabotaging behaviors.

Our wall of tiny pep talks.

The Community Hope Wall at Unbound Counseling is filled with messages of encouragement written by the people who pass through this space- because sometimes the words we need most come from someone who's been there too.
When you're in the office, feel free to read one or add one for the next person.

This month, we’re honoring Social Work Month and the profession that shapes every clinician in our practice.

All of our therapists are social workers, which means our work is grounded in:
• Meeting people where they are
• Understanding the impact of systems and environment
• Advocating for equity and access
• Believing in people’s capacity for growth

We’re grateful to be part of a profession rooted in compassion and justice.

You might walk past our therapy spaces and see a tray of sand and shelves of tiny figurines.

For many kids, teens, and even adults, sandtray is a powerful way to process big emotions, trauma, anxiety, or life changes.
When words feel hard, creating in the sand can feel safer. It gives space for expression, problem-solving, and healing.

At Unbound, we offer a variety of play, art, and expressive therapy tools to make therapy engaging and effective.

If your child needs support, we're here to help. Reach out today at www.unboundcounselingmi.com/contact
